Satin finish Sentry flagpoles are not anodized from the factory, but a clear anodized Sentry flagpole can be special ordered. Flagpole Internal Halyard Instructions 

Upon delivery, please inspect your flagpole for scratches, dents, and other defects. If there are any issues with your flagpole, please reject the delivery and contact our Flag Pros immediately. Do not store your flagpole in its packaging. Doing so can permanently stain your flagpole.
