Our Story

You raise your flag for a reason. Whatever your reason, it’s yours.

Maybe it’s tradition. Your father did it, so you do too. Maybe it’s pride—in your town, your school, your service. Maybe it’s a promise you’re keeping. To show up. To remember. To honor something that matters. And it deserves a flag that holds up to it. That's what we're here for.

How this started

Back in 1980, Dwight Morris had a steady job. And he gave it up. He started selling flags from his attic in Chicago. He wanted to build something that mattered, something he could be proud of, something that was his. And he believed it was worth the risk.

Years later, his daughter Liz learned something playing field hockey at UNC. She wasn't the star player. Not the fastest, not the top scorer. One day her coach pulled her aside with a bucket of water and dropped in a single drop of blue dye. The whole bucket changed color. “That's you,” her coach said. “That's what one person can do.”

Dwight in his attic in 1980. Liz on that field years later. Two different moments, same belief. One person taking a chance, showing up, doing work that matters. That's how you change things.

Forty-five years later, Liz runs the company. The business grew. The name changed. But the belief that drove Dwight to take that risk is still here, still driving everything we do.

What we believe in

Small actions spark big change.

One person raising a flag. One neighbor showing up. One call to get it right. We don’t think you need to do something grand to make a difference. You just need to do something that matters.

Keep at it.

We’ve been making flags for 45 years. Not because we’re chasing trends or reinventing what works. Because we show up, listen to what you need, and get a little better every time. Quietly. Repeatedly. That’s how you build something that lasts.

Stronger together.

The flags we make bring people together—families at reunions, teams at ceremonies, communities at memorials, generations passing down what matters. We’re not just here for the transaction.

Actions speak louder.

We could tell you we care about quality. Instead, we back every flag with a warranty. We could say we’re experienced. Instead, we’ve been doing this since 1980, getting better every single day.

What this means for you

Every flag we sell is made in America.

Not all our products are. We’re honest about that. But every flag comes from manufacturers here at home who take this work seriously.

We know which flag you need.

Coastal wind tears through cheap fabric. Desert sun bleaches colors fast. After 45 years, we’ve learned what works where. Our FlagPros help you get it right the first time.

Your flag is backed.

We warranty every flag against defects, fading, and tearing for 1-year. We know what it means when your flag is still flying strong while everyone else’s is coming down.

Reordering shouldn’t be work.

For schools, towns, and organizations that order regularly, we make it simple. We keep your specs on file. One call and done.

Free shipping on orders over $200.

Getting the right flag to you shouldn’t be complicated.

One more thing

You might be wondering about the name change.

For over 45 years, this company was called Carrot-Top Industries. But our name never quite captured what we’re really about: helping people show pride in what matters to them.

So we changed it. Same team. Same quality. Same commitment. A name that finally says what we’ve always believed.
