Built for wind
If you're on the coast, in the mountains, on open plains, or anywhere the wind picks up, this is your flag. Woven from two-ply polyester and treated to resist U.V. damage, it holds its shape in conditions that tear other flags apart. Polyester weighs more than nylon, which means it takes more wind to fly, but it also means it lasts longer when the weather turns rough.
Made from quality materials
Every Patriarch® U.S. Flag starts with a strong canvas header and solid brass grommets. The two-ply polyester looks like traditional cotton but is built for outdoor weather. Lock stitching runs through every seam, and the fly ends are reinforced: four stitches on flags 3'×5' through 6'×10', six stitches on 8'×12' through 20’ x 38’, and eight stitches on our largest sizes. This is what keeps the flag together when wind tries to pull it apart.
Sixteen flag sizes, one standard
We make Patriarch® flags in sixteen sizes: from 3'×5' for a 20' pole to 50'×80' for large installations. Popular choices for residential and commercial poles include 4'×6' and 5'×8'. Every size is made in the U.S.A.

Flags and Flag Accessories You Might Need
A few things work well with your Patriarch® Polyester U.S. Flag:
Halyard and snap hooks
Your flag attaches to the pole with halyard (rope) and snap hooks. When you replace your flag, check the halyard. If it looks frayed or worn, replace it. Our flagpole repair kit has what you need.
Light for nighttime display
If you're flying your flag at night, you'll need to light it. Our most popular option is a solar-powered flagpole light that mounts on top of the pole and illuminates the flag from above.
Heavy-duty flagpoles
In high-wwind areas, pair your Patriarch® flag with a commercial-grade pole. Our Majestic™ Heavy-Duty Flagpoles are built to handle winds up to 144–287 mph (unflagged), so your display stays standing even in extreme weather.
State and military flags
Flying a state or military flag alongside the American flag honors your state's history or shows support for those who serve. We carry flags for all 50 states, 5 territories, and the POW/MIA flag.
If you're flying two flags on one pole, the American flag should be larger and positioned on top, with the state or military flag below it.
