Details

The Admiral® Indoor flag stand is heavy duty cast iron base with an outer layer of anodized aluminum. The anodized aluminum layer has a matte gold finish to it and weighs about 18lbs. These cast iron flag bases are a great addition to any indoor flag set, especially ones that are placed closed to crowded areas.

The 18lbs, weighted base is able to hold the indoor flag upright even when accidentally bumped. The Admiral® flag base also adds a sleek look to your aluminum base and looks even better with one of our gold fringed indoor flags. Read the description tab below for more on this flag base.

The Admiral® Indoor flag floor stand is built with longevity in mind. The gold aluminum layer is painted gold and anodized to prevent any type of rusting or oxidization from happening guaranteeing minimal wear and tear from air conditions. Cast iron bases are usually regarded as durable heavy duty bases, the Admiral® flag base is even better equipped for long term display with its aluminum coating.

The Admiral® flagpole base can accommodate flagpoles with a diameter of 1" and up to 1". The base also has a diameter of 11½" to maintain the weight to area ratio. This base is recommended to be use with flagpoles measuring 7', 8', 9' or 10' in height. 12' flagpoles require a heavier base preferably a base weighing at least 20lbs.

The Admiral® flagpole base is intended for long term indoor use and not recommended for outdoor use. However, the flag base can hold up outdoors in dry weather conditions for short periods.
